Peter Piper Pizza
Peter Piper Pizza is a Glendale based pizza chain with locations across the Southwest. The company is a subsidiary of CEC Entertainment which, in turn, is owned by Apollo Global Management.
I suspect that the company was named for the tongue twisting nursery rhyme: "Peter Piper" which has been known since 1823. It goes something like:
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
