Arizona Biltmore

It is not uncommon for a hotel to be built to match the look and feel of the local distict. Rarely is a hotel so grand that the surrounding district builds to match the hotel.

Built in 1929, the Arizona Biltmore is known as the jewel of the desert. The Biltmore established the tradition of luxury spa resorts in the Phoenix area.

The resort was designed by architect Albert Chase McArthur with consultation from Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Biltmore Magazine concentrates on the finer things in life including fine foods, gardening and art.

Advertisment: the Biltmore is in the Waldorf Astoria family of hotels administered by Hilton.
